Banoffee Pies Digi 04

A 7 track house album (37m 18s) — released May 25th 2018 on Banoffee Pies

The fourth digital compilation for Banoffee Pies Records - BPRDIGI04, compiles music old and new across various sub labels from their originally vinyl only back catalog. The lead and bonus tracks come well received from newest addition to the BPR team - Bristol local Gallegos with his opening vocaliser from the latest Limited Series, "Save Your Love For Me", and"Note 2 Self" which was recently cut onto a dub plate in tribute to record store day. Well worth a look. Stable members Liem & Eddie Ness release their recent edition to the labels original imprint on Rivershells with "Fujiyama" - more leftfield drums and pads as expected from the duo paralleled by Marenn Sukie also making an appearance with expert percussion. Nothing less than habitual since more of his work has been showcased on his full Malinal EP on OTAKU, the sub label exploring music for home via lounge and trip hop sounds. Other inserts from Tell, DJ OK & Rasputin and Alan Delius all add to the array of leftfield house, synthesizers and r&b samples. Spring is here and the winter months are behind us.
